Mr. Ashraf Almohtasib holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Mutah University in Jordan and an Executive MBA from the University of North Alabama. With nearly 20 years of experience in the electrical power and data analysis sectors, Mr. Almohtasib has served in leadership roles as a project director and board member across multiple companies. He has been actively involved with Noor Academy of Arizona since 2014, where he serves as a board member and the organization’s treasurer, contributing his expertise to support the school’s growth and development.
Dr. Firoz Firozzaman received his Master’s degree in Industrial Mathematics from Kaiserslautern University, Germany in 1998 and PhD in Industrial Mathematics in 2002 in collaboration with Jahangirnagar University. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh in 1985 and 1986 respectively. He has been employed at ASU since 2002, teaching a variety of first-year math classes. He has taught at Dhaka University from 1990 to 2001. He also taught at King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals from 1999 to 2000. He has published 25 research papers and has authored two textbooks on Algebra and Business Calculus in Bangladesh and co-authored one textbook on Pre-Calculus. Kendall Hunt Publishing Company has published two workbooks on Algebra (3rd edition) in 2015 and Calculus work book in 2016.
Dr. Asser Youssef is a board-certified general surgeon and surgical critical care physician with over two decades of experience in acute care, and advanced surgical practice. He earned his medical degree from Alexandria University in Egypt and completed his surgical training in the United States. Dr. Youssef has served in both academic and community settings and is committed to excellence in patient care, surgical education, and service-oriented leadership. Guided by Islamic principles of faith, integrity, and compassion, he views professional excellence as a responsibility and form of service. He has a special interest in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Youssef is honored to support Noor Academy of Arizona’s mission of faith-centered education, strong character development, and cultivating future Muslim leaders. He resides in Chandler, Arizona, with his wife and three children.
